Subject: Farul Constanta 23/24 Matchday Visuals
Context: Continuing my collaboration with Farul Constanța as a Graphic Designer for the 2023/24 season, I had the opportunity to further develop the club’s visual identity during a year filled with European challenges and memorable moments. This season marked the team’s participation in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League and a continued European journey in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where Farul reached the play-off stage.
This project showcases the official Matchday visuals created throughout the season, with a stronger focus on the European atmosphere, the club’s signature marine elements, iconic architectural landmarks from the city of Constanța, and an enhanced fan presence. The typography used in these visuals was inspired either by the artistic direction I set for this season, the font style of the jersey numbers, or maritime-inspired typefaces. The designs feature a variety of aesthetics and styles, ranging from illustrations to electric themes, with some visuals incorporating elements of artificial intelligence (AI).
